Volunteer Spotlight: Nancy Karlson

We are excited to highlight Nancy Karlson, an extraordinary woman whose steadfast commitment to the Pilgrim Pines community has spanned over forty years. If you know Nancy, you know she loves to walk around the lake, and Nancy walks through camp every day. Nancy and her family started in the early days of the Camping Area before moving to Swanzey full-time. During this time, Nancy has lovingly managed the Snack Shack while playing a pivotal role in shaping the lives of numerous summer staffers and campers' experiences every summer. Throughout the years, Nancy was essential during retreat season, helping in a variety of ways. Her steadfast commitment and vision have been a huge blessing to Pilgrim Pines. Outside of her contributions to Pilgrim Pines, Nancy has been involved in caring for her family, the local Covenant Church, and the lake community, which exemplifies her nurturing nature and the values we hold dear. We honor her legacy and thank her for her service, vision, and support.
