June 29 - MacDonald Family Singers The MacDonald Family Singers, a volunteer ministry, have been performing publicly for 13 years. This home schooling family - made up of ten members, with eight children ranging in age from seven to twenty-two - started with just a vocal program. As the children grew, instruments and more musical styles were added. They generally bring 15-20 instruments to their concerts, including a keyboard, various brass and string instruments, and harmonica. Their repertoire includes original Scripture melodies, a cappella hymns, traditional, gospel bluegrass, and sacred classical. July 6 - Coffee House Ministries CHM is a 4 member folk group led by Scott Lee and based out of Boston Covenant Congregational Church. They actively performed their program in various churches around New England during 1998 to 2003. Most of their music is original, songs that celebrate "life themes" that all relate to, including worship, servanthood, friendship, aging, parenting, faith. They are long-time friends of Pilgrim Pines and will use this concert to help us celebrate our 50 years in ministry. July 13 - Paul Paoli Band The Paul Paoli Band is one of the freshest and original new bands on the contemporary Christian music scene today featuring all original music with hints of rock, folk, blues, country, bluegrass and jazz. Everywhere they play people have been moved to tears, cheers, and are dancing and always clamoring for more. Their highest goal is to give the Lord God the honor and glory that He is so worthy of, by making known the Person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ through lyrics grounded in scriptural principles accompanied by contemporary instrumentation. They hope and pray that the Lord will use this ministry to draw unbelievers into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, as well as encourage true believers to grow in Christ likeness. July 20 - Anderson Family Singers The Anderson family concert will feature Carrie Anderson Thornton, Lyric Soprano of Jacksonville, FL; Juliana Anderson, Mezzo Soprano of Northboto, CT; Stephanie Anderson Bigg, Folk Singer of Clearwater, FL; and Lea Anderson Kaditt, Soprano of Minneapolis, MN. Broadway, Opera, Classical, Folk, Country and Spiritual Songs will be presented. Daughters of Chuck, Steve and Phil Anderson, the cousins who are all professional singers look forward to their second concert at Pilgrim Pines.
